1. About the Service
Bonfire Campus is a platform that helps students from middle school through college connect with fellow students at the same school, create calendars, and keep up with their schoolwork. The Service includes:- Bonfire Campus Activities, which lets students join club and activity groups to stay up to date and communicate with leaders.
- Bonfire Campus Alert, which lets teachers share classroom announcements with students. The Service may also send assignment reminders and calendar updates.
- Organization features, which let schools and school districts create an organization, connect a Google Workspace Directory or Microsoft 365 Directory, and automatically create staff and student accounts.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
The Service is intended for students in middle school through college, and for teachers, staff, and administrators of participating schools.- If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, or through an account provided by your school.
- Students under 13 may only use the Service through an account created or authorized by their school or with verifiable parental consent, as required by applicable law.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly at the Bonfire Campus Support Portal if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
3. School and Organization Accounts
Schools and school districts (“Organizations”) can manage the accounts of their students and staff. By using an account associated with an Organization, you acknowledge and agree that:- Domain verification and account enlistment. An Organization that verifies its domain can enlist existing Bonfire Campus accounts that use that domain into the Organization. Your permission is not required for this to happen. Once enlisted, your account becomes subject to the Organization’s settings and policies.
- Enforced settings. Organizations can enforce settings on user accounts, including requiring sign-in through Microsoft SSO, Google Workspace SSO, or both.
- Directory provisioning. Organizations that connect a Google Workspace Directory or Microsoft 365 Directory can automatically create, update, and manage staff and student accounts.
- Supported sign-in. Custom client IDs are not supported for SSO connections.
- Organization responsibility. Organizations are responsible for obtaining any consents required from students, parents, or guardians, and for complying with laws and policies that apply to them, including student privacy laws.
